Installation Note 43950: MySQL 5.0.86 for Linux is not available in the SAS® Software Depot
The SAS Software Depot provides installation media for the Linux operating system in Red Hat Package Manager format (rpm). However, the SAS Performance Management Solutions must use the compressed tar (tar.gz) media format of the MySQL Database Server 5.0.86 to properly configure on Linux. This applies to SAS Financial Management, SAS Human Capital Management, and SAS Strategy Management.
Please contact SAS Technical Support to download MySQL 5.0.86 in compressed tar format.
Once you have downloaded MySQL 5.0.86, please follow the installation instructions in the "MySQL Database Server Installation Guide".
